I am a lover of tiny things. With the exception of dogs (big dogs are the greatest) and glasses of wine, the smaller the thing, the more I love it. This particularly extends to art works, and my own creative doings. I have wasted many a large sketchbook page by drawing a tiny picture right in the middle, so you can only imagine my excitement when I discovered this mini loom from Loom and Spindle a while ago. ‘You mean I can take my love of weaving and make it small? Sign me up!’
These are the little experiments I’ve made on the mini loom so far. I was thoroughly enjoying this colour scheme, so I turned them into a bit of a series (available now on my Etsy store).
I’m liking the possibilities of the mini loom, and am looking forward to seeing just how small my weavings can get! I’m definitely feeling the need to branch out into woven necklaces…I’m sure it’s only a matter of time.
Do you like to make things on a small scale, or are you more of a ‘go big or go home’ kind of person? Do let me know in the comments 🙂
